Ken was elected to the Borough Council five years ago where he has represented the people of Minster Cliffs actively and helped to resolve many personal and community problems. Last year he was also elected to the Kent County Council for Sheerness which has enabled him in retirement to pursue many more issues on behalf of the many communities of Sheppey.
Mike Whiting represents the Swale Central division on Kent County Council, along with colleague Alan Willicombe.
Adrian Crowther was elected as a Swale Borough Councillor for Minster Cliffs Ward on 1st May 2008, andwas the Mayor of Swale for 2009-10. Adrian represented the ward previously from 2003 to 2007, prior to which he was a councillor in Queenborough & Halfway. Adrian is currently also Kent County Councillor for the Sheppey Rural Division.
Alan, along with his wife Jean, represents Woodstock Ward on Swale Borough Council. Alan has also previously served as the Mayor of Swale. Alan represents the Swale Central Division on Kent County Council, along with colleague Mike Whiting.
Andrew is Leader of Swale Borough Council and also Kent County Councillor for Swale East, which partly falls within the Sittingbourne & Sheppey constituency.
Keith is Kent County Councillor for Swale West.
